Before we get to the question is CBD oil good for you, I think I should take a minute to talk about what CBD even is.
Where does CBD come from?
CBD, or cannabidiol, is a type of naturally occurring compound, a cannabinoid, found in the cannabis plant.
Cannabis plants include marijuana and hemp.

Marijuana contains varying levels of THC, tetrahydrocannabinol, the compound found in cannabis that causes psychoactive changes or the feeling of being “high.”
Hemp, on the other hand, contains very low or even no traces of THC, making it non-psychoactive.
CBD is typically extracted from hemp plants, not the marijuana plants, via carbon dioxide extraction.
CBD, after it has been extracted, is made into different products: gummies, lollipops, cookies, tinctures, dabs, waxes, shatter, vaping oils, lotions, etc.
Once ingested, vaporized, or used topically, CBD impacts a person’s endocannabinoid system.
Some people argue that of all the systems in the body: respiratory, digestive, endocrine, reproductive, etc., the endocannabinoid system is the most important.
What is the endocannabinoid system?
As I previously mentioned, the endocannabindoid system is an important body system, perhaps the most important, because it has it’s hands in every single area of the body.
It’s job is to help keep the body stable and happy, so to speak, by communicating back and forth from the area where the receptor is, back to the brain, which then identifies if there is a problem: a pain, an inflammation, poor immunity, stress, etc; or if everything is fine and dandy.
So, why is CBD oil good for you?
Because when taken, health conditions and symptoms may improve with CBD usage (any usage of CBD, not just CBD oil).
What are the health benefits of CBD oil**?
- The person’s mood may be enhanced: s/he may feel calmer and less stressed out.
- CBD is said to help alleviate some of the symptoms of PTSD, Social Anxiety Disorder, OCD, and depression.
- The person’s sleep may improve, and fatigue may lessen.
- Pain and inflammation may be reduced. Alleviating pain and inflammation may help with many conditions like heart disease, Alzheimer’s, cancer, arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, fibromyalgia, migraines, etc.
- Seizures may lessen, helping many epileptic patients.
- CBD oil is thought to level out blood sugars, help the body burn fat, and even burns calories.
- Even if you are healthy, CBD can still be beneficial by unarming free radicals, burning calories, and improving the immune system.

In summary, there are numerous medical benefits of CBD oil.
It is immensely beneficial to many people that live with minor and major health problems or people who want to maintain overall health and wellness.
I think that the medicinal benefits speak for themselves.
Especially when so many other people around the world, the eastern cultures of China and India in particular, use and have used CBD as a natural medicine.
Is CBD oil good for you?
1,000% YES!
CBD oil, CBD edibles, CBD topics, etc., are all great options.
In my experience…
For me personally, I always like to explore all-natural home remedies rather than pop a pill or go to a doctor right away.
In my experience with severe stress-related TMJ, and daily excruciating jaw pain from the time I woke up until the time I went to bed, I have seen a drastic improvement after taking CBD oil sublingually a few times per day.
When my CBD oil is taken consistently, my jaw pain is almost non-existent. When I miss my dose, I pay for it- the jaw pain returns with vengeance.
I think it is time that people are given other options for their health rather than a pill or 30. If you’d like to shop for CBD oil, capsules, or tinctures, please visit my affiliate link.
